Welcome to my third gallery which contains photos taken from 1986 onwards of vehicles belonging to bus operators who sadly no longer exist.
The first collections to be uploaded are Blue Saloon of Guildford, Caves of Shirley & Chiltern Queens of Woodcote. Tillingbourne etc. will follow.

Chiltern Queens of Woodcote ran bus services in the Reading, Wallingford & Watlington areas until 2002. New and used (some ex Oxford) buses were operated.

 | 6th May 2008 | Caves Bus Services
Caves of Shirley ran bus services in the Solihull area until the death of one of the proprietors in June 1999. Secondhand buses operated were mainly Bedfords and these were replaced by Leyland Nationals in the 1990s. Notable new purchases were a rare ACE Cougar and an early Dennis Dart with a Carlyle body.

Blue Saloon of Guildford operated buses from 1973 to 1996. The first buses were RFs, which were gradually replaced by Bristol LHs and a few other types. The company also ran a number of interesting coaches.
